We would like to congratulate Anthony “Tony” DePaola on his recent appointment to the Berkeley Township Council. Tony brings a wealth of experience and dedicated service to our community. Tony served for 9 years as President and Member of the Berkeley Township Board of Education. Many years as a member of the Berkeley Township Zoning Board of Adjustment and former Chairman of the Berkeley Township Planning Board. Tony currently serves as Secretary Commissioner of the Ocean County Board of Health and was appointed last year by Governor Christie, to the New Jersey Racing Commission. Tony will finish the year remaining on former Councilman Bob Ray’s term, who recently retired. Tony will not be seeking office in the upcoming election. His unexpired term will finish in December 2015. We wish Tony good luck as part of the Amato Team in continuing to make Berkeley a great place to live, work and retire!!

We wish to extend our deepest appreciation to Councilman Robert “Bob” Ray for his many years of dedicated service to our community. In January Councilman Ray announced his retirement from the Council. Bob is an invaluable member of our team. We wish Bob and his wife Regina the very best in their retirement.
